From the Tokyo skyline to the traditional temples of Kyoto, Japanese architecture is born of a light-footed, expansive tradition of building that "sits differently on the landscape". It offers a symbiosis of form, function and construction that gives physical expression to an aesthetic of lightness.

This lecture takes place in cooperation with the BDA NRW and is accredited by the AKNW with one accreditation point.
